Hi everyone! Look I am still alive. I have had a busy year with getting used to a new country, a new school system, and a new life. Fortuantely, I think, I am able to juggle school life with passion so I want to ease in with blogging again. Thanks to this rise from the dead I want to reboot this blog with my latest trip to Croatia. I have been fortunate to visit this beautiful country for the second time, this time exploring Trogir. A small island-city with small streets, old flats, and magical beaches (though rocky beaches). This place was perfect to wipe out my newly bought striped pants from Zara. Despite the abstractness of the combination (high waist, long, wide legs, stripes) they fit with many things in my closet, including the see-through, crop top, bought at a thrift store over 4 years ago; thankfully this top has beaten the test of time in my closet and has been able to live in order to become a staple for me this season.

Witam wszystkich! Patrzcie- dalej żyję! Miałam pracowity rok z przyzwyczajeniem się do nowego kraju, nowego systemu szkolnego i do nowego życia. Na szczęście, myślę, że jestem w stanie połączyć życie szkolne z przyjemnościami, więc chcę wejść w nawyk blogowania. Dzięki temu zmartwychwstaniu chcę zacząć znowu blogować zaczynając od niedawnej wycieczki do Chorwacji. Miałam okazję po raz kolejnie zobaczyć ten kraj, tym razem odwiedzając Trogir. To miasteczko na wysepce z pięknymi dróżkami, starymi mieszkaniami oraz magicznymi plażami (tym samym skalistymi). To było idealne miejsce, żeby założyć moje nowo zakupione spodnie z Zary. Pomimo tego, że są abstrakcyjne (wysoka talia, szerokie i długie nogawki, paski) pasują mi do prawie wszystkiego w szafie, w tym ta biała crop top. Została kupiona 4 lata temu w second-handzie. Na szczęście dożyła walkę z czasem z moją szafą i jest moją nową ulubioną bluzkę na to lato!

Yes spring! And I decide to wear black. Sorry not sorry. I love this Japan-inspired T-shirt and when I wear it I just think how cool it would to travel to Asia and explore it. Then I think how much that would cost. I am very lucky and grateful for having the chance to visit many European countries and North America but I'm very driven to Eastern culture from the abstract cities to their lifestyle. I love Chinese food ( lo mien is life y'all) and I want to eat at a REAL Chinese restaurant and experiment all the wonderful flavors. Then we have the crazy street fashion from Tokyo and South Korea. I even listened to K-Pop once... It isn't that bad (even catchy)! When ever I watch my favorite Youtuber Jenn Im from Clothesencounters (watch here) and her trips to Asia ( in general around the world) all I want to do is jump on a plane a fly. Then, again, I remember that my bank account is empty. But a girl can dream.

Tak, już jest wiosna! I zdecydowałam założyć czerń. Nie mogłam z niej zrezygnować, a mam koszulkę inspirowaną Japonią. Kiedy ją mam na sobie ,to myślę jak cudownie byłoby zwiedzić Azję. Potem myślę, ile taki wyjazd kosztuje. Miałam takie szczęście, że mogłam zobaczyć Północną Amerykę i większości Europy, ale jestem zafascynowana kulturą azjacką. Od ich abstrakcyjnych miast, do stylu życia. Kocham chińskie jedzenie (lo mien- to jest życie) i pragnę bardzo zjeść w PRAWDZIWEJ chińskiej restauracji i eksperymentować z różnymi smakami. Jest, również, ta szalona moda uliczna z Tokyo i Południowej Korei. Nawet kiedyś słuchałam K-Pop.... Przyznam, że nie jest takie złe (nawet wpada w ucho). Kiedy oglądam filmiki Jenn Im z Clothesencounters (oglądnij tutaj) i jej podróże do Azji ,to chce wskoczyć do samolotu i polecieć. Znowu przypominam sobie o kosztach takiego wypadu. Dziewczyna może marzyć

For over 100 years women thanks to feminists are able to wear pants/jeans/trousers. Through these years many cuts and washes have entered (and have been thrown out of) our closets. In almost very post I wore some type of pant. They are the easiest garment to style and every girl has a pair of jeans.
I couldn't pick only one "it-jeans" but these are my top three:






Blue jeans
As Lana Del Rey sung "blue jeans, white shirt..." - the most classic paring of all time. James Dean, Miranda Kerr and many, many more have worn this look for decades and are always classy. These trusty Zara jeans have been in my closet for about 2 years and with minor flaws still look fantastic with everything! I'm very fond of the high waist which gives me a Marilyn Monroe vibe from "The Misfits".
Jak Lana Del Rey śpiewała "Blue jeans, white shirt..." - czyli najbardziej klasyczne zestawienie. James Dean, Miranda Kerr i wiele innych przez dekady ubierali się w taki sposób i zawsze wyglądali klasycznie. Ta zaufana para dżinsów jest z Zary - mam je od 2 lat i oprócz małych znaków, zniszczeń, ciągle wyglądają swietnie z czymkolwiek. Uwielbiam w nich wysoki stan - a'la Marilyn Monroe w "The Misfits".


Black trousers
I'm not sure if trousers are everyone's cup of tea but think black skinnes, just black pants! But these pants started there life between the crazy 1920's-1930's thanks to Mademoiselle Coco Chanel. Just like blue jeans everything matches with these bad boys from a models' all black outfit to a black tie event at the Met Gala. Snatch these classic at my local Tj Maxx and they make me fell put together what ever I wear!


Boyfriends Jeans
The new 'It' jeans - I really love them and I think this jeans will hang up in my closet longer than for a couple of seasons. It's a fun yet subtle statement! When a wear a white blouse to them I feel very Parisian and then a pairing an intricate T-shirt makes it girls-night-in appropriate. The best part about the boyfriend jean is that you don't really need a boyfriend!

I finally have snow out my window and it's been there for more than a day! It's getting colder and though this outfit looks as if I'm freezing I didn't because I've mastered (after many, many years) the art of layering. Underneath that blazer I had a tank top and wool sweater. A thick pair of black tights hid under my trousers plus I wore an extra pair of black ankle length socks to my Nike Roshes (BTW these are the lightest shoes ever!). Added my favorite scarf and mittens and I was ready to face the winter.

W końcu mam śnieg za oknem i nie tylko na jeden dzień! Jest coraz zimnej na zewnątrz i choć te ciuchy nie wyglądają jak ciepłe to mogę napisać, że było mi cieplej, niż zwykle, ponieważ w końcu opanowałam sztukę "nawarstwiania" (po wielu, wielu latach). Pod marynarką miałam podkoszulek i wełniany sweter. Pod spodniami kryły się czarne, grube rajstopy i dodatkowo miałam krótkie skarpety do moich Nike Roshe (przy okazji chcę oznajmić, że to są najlepsze buty, które posiadam!). Dodałam wielkie szalik i ręcawice prosto z Zakopanego. Byłam gotowa stawić czoło mrozie.


The key is to layer thin, and yes taking it off in a room can be a struggle. But two-three layers of a cotton tank top, blouse or/and sweater can prevent a close future with an illness. When I was younger I sometimes felt uncomfortable because I wasn't capable to move my arms. Then I found the magic behind vests. I love pairing a denim vest with my equestrian coat and also be able to punch someone if I had to!

Kluczem do ubierania się warstwami jest nakładanie cienkich warstw. Tak wiem, że ściąganie ich może być kłopotliwe, wchodzą do jakiegoś pomieszczenia. Lecz dwa-trzy warstwy składające się z: bawełnianej podkoszulki, satynowej bluzki oraz swetra, mogą powstrzymać przyszłość z chorobą. Kiedy byłam młodsza, często nie czułam się wygodnie, bo nie mogłam poruszać ramiona swobodnie. Potem odkryłam magię kamizelek. Uwielbiam łączyć dżinsową kamizelkę z moją jeździecką kurtką i w tym samym czasie być w stanie uderzyć kogoś pięścią!

Hi! Well, Christmas came and went by and before you know you'll be using your 2015 agenda. This year was a good one (not the best or worst). From becoming a Teen Vogue Blogger (thank you!), visiting the States and starting high school. I'm excited for 2015 because I plan to change up this platform. Instead of just outfits I'll try to add Youtube videos (ex. video diaries from trips), essays or mini interviews with fashion celebrities (I have this year's Poland Fashion Week in mind). I also want to change the look of the blog (if someone wants to help please send ideas via email: millesimepl@gmail.com).
Witam! Cóż, Święta i po świętach i zanim się obejrzysz będzie używał 2015 dziennika. Then rok był dobry (nie specjalny i nie zły). Od zostania Teen Vogue Blogger (dziękuję!), wakacje w Stanach do rozpoczęcia liceum. Nie mogę się 2015 roku ponieważ chcę zmienić zawartość bloga. Zamiast tylko stylizacje to chce spóbować dodać filmiki na Youtube (np. wideo-pamiętnik z prodróży), eseje czy mini wywiady z modowymi gwiazdami (mam nadzieje, że uda mi się pójść na Poland Fashion Week). Chcę, też, zmienić wygląd bloga (jak ktoś ma jakiś pomysł to proszę napisać na email: millesimepl@gmail.com).    





 Coming back to present time - CHRISTMAS! I am very blessed to receive fantastic gifts from my parents (a YT video on that), unfortunately the only present I wanted I havn't had got yet - snow...(Update: A bit of snow has fallen lately!). I just love this time of the year! Just sitting in front of the Christmas tree or in my bed and relaxing while listening to Micheal Buble. And the best activity of all - eating! Yesterday I had a feast at my grandmothers' and now I only fit in my Victoria Secret sweatpants. Ah, now it's time to get motivated and slowly get ready for work and school.... *Waiting for summer vacation*
Wracając do teraźniejszości - BOŻE NARODZENIE! Jestem bardzo wdzięczna za prezenty, które dostałam od rodziców (możliwe filmik z prezentami!), niestety jedyny prezent który chciałam dostać nie otrzymałam- śnieg... (Aktualność: Pokruszyło trochę!) Pomimo tego kocham ten czas! Siedząc przed choinką czy w łóźku odpoczywam słuchając Micheala Buble'a. I najlepszy zajęcie podczas świąt- jedenie! wczoraj byłam na uczcie u babci i teraz mieszczę tylko w moje dresy z Victorii Secret. Ah, znowu muszę powoli wracać do szkoły i pracy... *Czeka na wakacje*
