Me as a city girl born and half raised in the city I always thought that the country side is a place for hillbillies where they play with cows and such. I know that it’s only a stereotype but when I go to my grandmas' house in the summer her neighbor didn't have teeth, his wife was... weighed more than a average woman. And I hated sleeping there as a little girl because I thought that monsters from outside would hurt me (AKA drunk people). So you could say that I'm not a Carrie-Underwood-farm-loving-girl. I was raised most of my childhood maybe not at a farm but my house was in the woods so you can say that it's the country side. I loved that life there; there was a waterfall behind my garden, I once saw a bear (my mom wasn't too happy about that) but when my family would go the NY I fell in love every time. The lights would shine lighter as if it was for me, Central Park was my favorite place to play and then we would go to The Plaza and I could die because of it's beauty. Coming home I always prayed to come back as quick as possible. So taking these pictures in a real cottage and standing in mud with my Chelsea leather Venezia boots I knew in that moment (unexpected) that my heart belong in the city and that I belong there.

Jako miejska dziewczyna, urodzona i w połowie wychowana w mieście zawsze myślałam, że wieś jest miejscem dla farmerów, gdzie pasą krowy i itp. Wiem, że to tylko stereotyp, ale kiedy jadę do babci na wakacje jej sąsiad nie ma zębów, a jego żona… powiedzmy, że waży więcej niż przeciętna kobieta. I nienawidziłam spać tam jako mała dziewczynka bo, bałam się, że potwory z lasu mnie porwą (czyli inaczej mówiąc pijacy). Czyli można powiedzieć, że nie jest a’la Maryla Rodowicz, która kocha wieś i wszystko co się wiąże z nią. Większości swojego dzieciństwa nie spędziłam na wsi ale miałam dom w lesie więc można powiedzieć, że są podobieństwa. Kochałam tam mieszkać ; miałam wodospad za domem, nawet zobaczyłam kiedyś niedźwiedzia (moja mama już nie była taka zadowolona z tego powodu) ale kiedy z rodzicami jechaliśmy do NY – za każdym razem się zakochiwałam. Myślałam, że światła świecą jaśniej specjalnie dla mnie, a Central Park był moim ulubionym miejscem, aby się pobawić, potem szliśmy do Plaza i mogłam umrzeć z powodu piękności budynku.  Wracając do domu modliłam się, żeby szybko wrócić. Więc kiedy robiłam te zdjęcia w prawdziwej wsi and stojąc w moich brązowych, Chelsea, skórzanych botkach wiedziałam w tym momencie, (niespodziewanie) że moje serc należy do miasta i ja tam należę.

Spring is just around the corner and what is the best way to celebrate this time than wearing florals? And what’s better than just a flower shirt – a suit of course! It’s a miracle that I found something like this in a thrift shop. One of my best buys! And to not blind you I wore a navy sweatshirt (it actually it saved my life- so cold!).Even though in Poland one day it is +5 and another day -5 I still think that a week or a month will come where every day will be a beautiful one. As I was editing the pictures I could already feel the warm breeze, the sun shing on me and listening to “Here comes the sun” by The Beatles made me feel fantastic. Though taking the photos by the lovely and very talented Paulina my body didn’t feel the same way. But I know that in a not so far future it will be finally spring – as for now good luck with being healthy (I unfortunately am not).

Wiosna tuż za rogiem i jak najlepiej uczcić ten piękny czas niż noszeniem kwiatowych wzorów? I wiecie co jest lepsze niż bluzka w kwiaty – komplet oczywiście! Cuda, że znalazłam coś takiego w second-handzie. Jedna z moich ulubionych zdobyczy! I, żeby was nie oślepić założyłam moją ulubioną granatową bluzę. Chociaż w Polsce jeden dzień jest +5 a drugi -5 ciągle myślę, że nadejdzie tydzień lub miesząc gdzie każdy dzień będzie piękny.  Edytując zdjęcie już czułam ciepłe powietrze, słońce padający przez okno i słuchając „Here comes the Sun” wykonane przez Beatlesów czułam się fantastycznie. Chociaż kiedy kochana i bardzo utalentowana Paulina robiłam mi zdjęcia nie moje ciało nie czuło się tak świetnie. Ale wiem, że w nie dalekiej przyszłości przyjdzie ta oczekiwana wiosna – a jak na razie powodzenia z pogodę, żebyście nie zachorowali (mi się niestety nie udało się).
